The former President and CEO of luxury brand Coach in China will advise DLG’s Board and executive team on the next stages of growth.

Based in Geneva, Shanghai and New York, DLG (Digital Luxury Group), the leading independent digital agency for international luxury brands, announced on September 27, 2019 the appointment of Jonathan Seliger as a Board Advisor.

Seliger brings extensive experience to the Company, having served as the Managing Director of luxury goods brand Alfred Dunhill (Richemont), before becoming the President and CEO of Coach in China, where under his leadership, the brand grew exponentially to become the leading accessible luxury brand in the country.

He will work closely with DLG’s executive team to prepare the company for its next phase of growth, including new strategic investments as well as potential mergers and acquisitions.

“We already have a strong, growing and profitable business in China, a unique portfolio of trusted clients and an integrated service offering covering social media, social customer relationship management and e-commerce. The goal now is to accelerate our e-commerce efforts,” says David Sadigh, Founder and CEO of DLG.

“I have known David and Pablo Mauron [DLG’s Managing Director China and Partner], from my Coach years, and have followed their entrepreneurial journey with both respect and admiration”, says Seliger. “DLG has built a compelling position in the market and is probably one of the only international digital agencies that is rapidly growing in China while still being independently operated.”

At present, DLG China helps brands including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, IHG Hotels & Resorts (Intercontinental Hotels), Vacheron Constantin (Richemont), MB&F, Carl F. Bucherer and Nars navigate the digital landscape of the world’s largest luxury market. Besides managing the social media presence and campaigns of these brands, it also formulates and executes effective social CRM and e-commerce strategies for them.

“Jonathan is one of the best experts on the China luxury and retail market, bringing a stellar track record, and a rare dual experience acquired in both corporate and start-up environments. His business and retail experience paired with his personal network will be an essential asset to DLG. I couldn’t be happier,” adds Tibère Adler, DLG’s Chairman of the Board.

More recently, Seliger served as the CEO of naked Hub, which he built to over 50 locations across Asia and was acquired by WeWork in a landmark 2018 deal.

Seliger also acts as a Senior Advisor to TPG Global, one of the leading alternative investment firms in the world. He is also a member of YPO, the premier leadership organisation for chief executives worldwide.
