DLG ACQUIRES CREATIVE AGENCY CORNELIUS
DLG has acquired creative agency Cornelius, adding design, video, photography and editorial capabilities to its content creation services, as part of a larger move to strengthen its 360° offering to its global clientele.
The acquisition, which was completed at the beginning of March, will allow clients of both DLG and Cornelius, to benefit from a wide range of services, consolidating DLG’s position as a digital leader in the luxury sector. DLG was won over by the originality, agility and talent of the team, and its ability to create dynamic and engaging content for its roster of clients, while Cornelius joins an international group specializing in digital marketing serving the biggest luxury brands, with access to the Chinese market.
“Our goal is for the ‘Cornelius’ brand and spirit to endure. The agency has an excellent reputation and our goal is to accelerate its development,” said David Sadigh, founder and CEO of DLG, who intends to expand the new creative department. The recruitment of new employees is currently underway, to add new expertise to its already strong team. Future acquisitions are also planned, in various areas of creation and digital.
“We specialize in digital marketing. Now we can quickly and efficiently cover content creation needs to support our clients across the value chain and give them access to fuller experiences. Several of them are already benefiting from this new expertise,” said Sadigh.
For Cornelius, which will retain its autonomy, the move enables it to strengthen its position in a French-speaking market where brands are increasingly looking for partners with a 360 ° creative offering and a digital-first approach, in order to amplify their traditional communication and marketing.
